Ms. ZHU Sai-hong (The Palace Museum, Beijing, China)
Ms. Zhu spent six months at the National Palace Museum (Taipei, Taiwan) to conduct research on the rare book collections compiled by the Qing court and investigate their preservation and conservation conditions at the Museum.

Dr. Eileen LAM (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China)
Dr. Lam spent twelve months at the Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, U.S.A.) to study the Institute’s jade collection and to gain professional museum training.

 

Dr. Lesley LAU (Public Museum of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China)
Ms. Lau spent four months at The British Museum (London, U.K.) to conduct research on its Chinese export art collection.

 

Ms. Valentina MARABINI (The British Museum, London, U.K.)
Ms. Marabini spent twelve months at the Shanghai Museum (Shanghai, China) to enhance her skills in the conservation and preservation of Chinese paper and silk, and to learn the production techniques of artificially-aged silk for conservation usage.

 

Ms. XIONG Ying-fei (Shanghai Museum, Shanghai, China)
Ms. Xiong spent six months at the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery (Washington D.C., U.S.A.) to conduct research on chemical composition and technical characteristics of colorants in iron and copper glazes on ancient Chinese ceramics. Shanghai Museum database was enhanced by assembling the data collected.

 

Dr. YEUNG Suet (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China)
Dr. Yeung spent twelve months at the Cleveland Museum of Art (Cleveland, U.S.A.) to assist in the mounting of a retrospective exhibition on Fu Baoshi (1904-65) and to gain professional museum training.
