Dr. FENG Nan

Fellowship Project

Dr. Feng Nan will spend 12 months (February 2022 – February 2023) at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands where she will systematically study the theoretical fundamentals of museum education, including constructivism and object-based learning, museum-school collaboration, adult education activity planning, and museum education evaluation models. She also plans to develop a Chinese art education programme based on her in-depth research on the Chinese art collection of the museum.

Biography

Dr. Feng Nan holds a Ph. D.degree in Archaeology and Museology and is now Associate Professor at the School of Archaeology, Jilin University. Her research focuses on museum education and museum environment study.

Recent Development and Achievement

    Dr. Feng Nan is currently conducting research on theories of museum education, programme planning and implementation. She will develop new university courses based on her research at the Rijksmuseum.
